Reese Marketos wins preliminary injunction freezing assets of judgment debtor

A judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada issued a preliminary injunction freezing the assets of a judgment debtor and his affiliated entities. The injunction is the latest step in Reese Marketos’s efforts to collect on a multimillion-dollar RICO judgment won by Pete Marketos. The case is currently on appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, with questions of law certified to the Nevada Supreme Court.
